A Community of SupportFind A Therapist
Are you looking for professional support and connection with people like you who understand the fulfilling, challenging and sometimes lonely aspects of being a therapist? BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR COMMUNITY to find the connections and benefits you can’t get working alone.
The Philadelphia Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (PCEFT) provides training and supervision in EFT for therapists and students at all levels of experience.
Our community is a safe haven where you can grow as a therapist and a secure base from which to launch deeper work with your clients. You will find colleagues who welcome your questions, are dedicated to continued learning, and are aware of your concerns — because we’ve taken this path ourselves.

Community
We have personally experienced the challenges and rewards of learning this unique model. Because we understand that the need for emotional safety extends to therapists learning and practicing EFT, we work hard to create an atmosphere where collaboration, not competition, is the norm.
We invite you to join our growing community of EFT practitioners at the membership level that is right for you. Joining PCEFT is a great way to network with professionals in the field and be involved in a growing EFT community.
Graduate students in psychology, social work, counseling and marriage and family therapy programs are invited to become student members of PCEFT by paying annual dues of $25. The benefits of being a student member include:
- A strong, supportive professional network
- Free attendance at special workshops created for PCEFT members
- Discounts on certification-level trainings
- Inclusion in our listserv emails
- You do not have to be a member of ICEEFT.
- You do not have to have completed EFT trainings.
Licensed therapists and pre-licensed therapists in supervision are invited to join PCEFT as associate members, even before taking the first certification training–the EFT Externship. Annual dues for associate members are $55. Associate members receive the following benefits:
- A strong, supportive professional network
- Free attendance at special workshops created for PCEFT members
- Discounts on certification trainings
- Inclusion in our listserv emails
- You do not have to be a member of ICEEFT.
- You do not have to have completed EFT training.
Licensed therapists and therapists in supervision who join ICEEFT (the International Center for Excellence in EFT) and have completed an EFT Externship (the first official level of training that leads to EFT certification) are invited to become full members of PCEFT. As a full member, you are entitled to the following benefits:
- A strong, supportive professional network
- Free attendance at special workshops created for PCEFT members
- Discounts on certification-level trainings
- Inclusion in our listserv emails
- A listing in our public online therapy directory which will display your photo, and contact information for interested clients to contact you as a therapist who is trained in EFT. This includes a link to your website for those who are interested, which can increase SEO.
