I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been in private practice for 30 years!
Private practice was a good fit for me as I was raising our 2 sons early in my career. As my children got older and I had more time to work in the field, I realized that much had changed. To retool my skills I went to the Council for Relationships and received a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy.
While at the Council, I was introduced to Emotionally Focused Therapy. In 2015, I began my EFT training, and it has profoundly changed the impact I have with my couples.
A few years after I began practicing Emotionally Focused Therapy I was asked to be a member of the Philadelphia Center For EFT ‘s Board of Directors. I am currently the president of PCEFT and am grateful for the opportunity to help other clinicians to grow in their EFT skills.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with our adult sons, volunteering at church and enjoying the great outdoors.
